Our Man of the Year 2010

(editors note: Yes, we know it’s January 5th…piss off)

What an incredible year for news 2010 turned out to be! From Volcanos to earthquakes, oil spills to trapped miners, this year gave us all poignant moments we will not soon forget.

And through it all, one man’s star has shone the brightest through the darkness. Without further ado, we give you the Repo’s Delight Man of the Year, Mark Zuckerb…

Just kidding. We are perfectly happy to let Time Magazine (way to poop on that award, guys) give that bozo their award. If I was looking to honor someone whose only goal in life is to try to figure out away to capitalize off our privacy, I would have honored George Bush and Dick Cheney every year from 2000 to 2008.

But I digress…

Every man has a calling, and in these tough economic times, America needs a hero. An everyman kids can look up to. A “mans” man who inspires us with the feeling of “if he can do it, so can I”. Instant inspiration. For that reason, Repo’s Delight is truly proud to present our first ever man of the year (drumroll, please….) Brian Scalabrine!

Oh HELL YES! Brian Scalabrine is the perfect example for a struggling America. He is the posterchild for accomplishing more with less. Don’t believe me? Watch these video “highlights” of this professional basketball player:

“You must be crazy, Repo!” is probably the first thing that pops into your head. Now,please bear with me. Let’s consider that this 6’9″ mountain of mayonnaise has an NBA championship ring and has earned more than $18 MILLIONS DOLLARS in his career.

That’s right, this gentleman, who might not even be picked up in a game at the YMCA, is a millionaire 18 times over!!! He has been in the league for nearly 10 years and his highlight video is a gif. He is best known for his similarity to Jackie Moon.

But I can think of at least 18 million reasons why he wins our vote. Man of the Year? Shoot, he should be Man of the Decade!
